The venue and kick-off time confirmed for the 2026 WCQ match between Super Eagles and Benin

Official confirmation from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) reveals the venue and kick-off time for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture featuring Nigeria and Benin Republic.

On Monday, June 10, the third matchday will take place at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.

The match is scheduled to commence at 5 pm Nigerian time.

Due to inadequacy for international matches, Benin won’t be hosting any games at their home grounds.

Bamlak Tessema Weyesa from Ethiopia has been assigned as the center referee for this crucial fixture.

Prior to this encounter with Gernot Rohr’s team, the Super Eagles will play against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, June 7.

In the qualifiers, the three-time African champions are still on the hunt for their first victory.

Currently, Finidi George’s team occupies the second spot in Group C with two points secured from two matches.
