Suspension of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim by APC

Following alleged anti-party activities, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim has been suspended by the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The suspension of Ibrahim, who represents Ondo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, was carried out by the APC Executive Committee of Igbotako Ward 11 in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Signed by ward executive members such as Bakere Usuf, Tore Obwoselu, Oloyinmi Idowu, Borewaye Louyomi, Oladipupo Bose, Alkimbobola Seyi, Lawal-Babatunde, Aritawe-Ademole, Akinkuoju Olarewaju, and Fabioye Ajoke, the notice of suspension was issued.

This action against Ibrahim comes in the aftermath of his defeat in the party’s gubernatorial primary election in the state.
