Super Eagles Prepare for Bafana Match on June 1 in 2026 WCQ

Preparations are underway for the upcoming crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier as the Super Eagles gear up to face South Africa on Saturday, June 1.

The highly anticipated match is scheduled to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, June 7.

All the players who have been called up will be reporting to camp on June 1 to kickstart their training sessions.

The official list of players who will be representing the team in this game, as well as in the clash with the Squirrels of Benin Republic, will be announced in the following week.

Having drawn their first two games against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, the Super Eagles are still chasing their first win in the qualifiers.

Currently, Finidi George’s squad is holding the third spot in the Group C standings.
