Guardiola: Arsenal Could Win EPL if City Doesn’t Beat Tottenham

Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City manager, has acknowledged that failing to secure a victory against Tottenham Hotspur could cost them the Premier League title.

Currently trailing league leaders Arsenal by just one point, City, who are aiming for a historic fourth consecutive English league title, have a crucial match in hand.

If Guardiola’s squad emerges victorious against Spurs, they will secure the championship and only need another win against West Ham on the season’s final day to seal the title.

Having impressively scored 28 goals in their last seven Premier League fixtures while conceding only five goals, City are in a strong position.

Reflecting on their recent goal-scoring prowess, Guardiola commented at Monday’s press conference, “Scoring fifteen goals in four matches has been crucial for our current standing, but it won’t provide any advantage when we face tomorrow’s challenge.”

Guardiola underlined the critical nature of the upcoming match by stating, “The simple mindset is that if we don’t secure a win, our chances of winning the Premier League will diminish, and this realization is what propels us forward.”
