Boy, 3, in Ogun stolen car, located in Lagos

A three-year-old boy named Olamide Taiwo, who was in a car that was stolen, has been found in Owode-Onirin, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Prior reports outlined how a car with a toddler inside it was taken in Ikenne, Ogun State, on the weekend.

The car in question is a Toyota Camry with the registration number PKA 446GV, and it belongs to Taiwo Fayobi.

Police spokesperson Omolola Odutola confirmed the incident, explaining that the car, which had its engine running, was stolen while Fayobi was getting out to open his gate.

“A resident of Ikenne, Ogun State, Taiwo Fayobi, stated that he had exited his Toyota Camry PKA 446 GV to open his gate when two criminals drove off with his car, which had his three-year-old son inside,” Odutola narrated.

Providing an update, Odutola informed journalists in Abeokuta that a kind-hearted individual in Lagos had located the boy.

“Olamide Taiwo, the three-year-old in the Toyota Camry taken by two unidentified burglars, was discovered by a Good Samaritan in Owode Onirin, Ikorodu, wearing an ‘Ikenne’ tag. The Samaritan promptly informed the DPO Owode. The red Camry is still missing,” she stated.
