Summary
We are seeking a highly
motivated and skilled Assistant Factory Manager to join our Quick Service
Restaurant (QSR) team. The Assistant Factory Manager will play a crucial role
in ensuring the efficient operation of our factory, focusing on quality control,
administration, financial management, and team leadership. Cake design skills
will be an added advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain stringent
quality control procedures to ensure all products meet or exceed company
standards.
- Oversee product testing, sampling,
and inspections to identify and address any quality issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the production
team to ensure consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing
process.
Management/Administration:
- Support the Factory Manager in
overseeing the production process, workflow, and staff scheduling.
- Train, motivate, and guide
production teams to achieve production targets while maintaining quality
standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional
teams, such as procurement, logistics, and marketing to ensure seamless
operations.
- Address any operational issues or
challenges in a proactive and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate records of
inventory, production, and other relevant data.
- Generate reports and summaries for
management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for
improvement.
Financial and
Accounting:
- Assist in budget planning and cost
control efforts to optimize factory operations.
- Monitor expenses and identify
opportunities to minimize costs without compromising quality.
REQUIRED SKILLS &
COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's degree in any related
field, with quality control, administration/management, and financial
management skills.
- Proven experience in a supervisory
or management role within a food manufacturing or QSR environment.
- Strong understanding of quality
control procedures and their application within a production setting.
- Proficiency in financial management
and budgeting, as well as a strong interest in figures.
- Excellent leadership,
communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and proficient in cake
design, with a portfolio of past work (added advantage).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize,
and manage time effectively.
