Work
Experience
5-10yrs
work experience in the operations of field location and DCS controlled flow
stations.
Experience
in database administration will be an added advantage.
BOSIET/HUET/PTW
certifications will be an added advantage

- Monitoring and maintaining
computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner
to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support
across Field Location (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up GI-accounts for new
users
- Working with the IT team on
projects/enhancements.
- Management and maintenance of
day-to-day operations of all network-related systems to ensure quality of
service
- Providing support for wireless,
VOIP, video conferencing and other related equipment
- Providing technical support for
end-users’ workstations
- Performing the installation,
configuration and maintenance of different operating systems, software and
hardwares.
- Providing technical support for
LAN, Internet connectivity, and client email configuration issues
- Repairing and replacing IT
equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Management and maintenance of
Perimeter Fence intrusion detection System

Roles
and Responsibilities
IT
Outstation is responsible for performing all tasks assigned in a safe and
responsible manner in accordance with the established standard operating
procedures, written and oral instructions.
IT
Outstation personnel should work under the supervision of the Maintenance
supervisor to:
- Monitoring and maintaining
computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner
to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support
across Field Location (this may be in person or over the phone)
