N-Power promises to pay beneficiaries’ stipends for January, February, March and April, sends warning to truants
N-Power, a federal
government empowerment scheme, said that it is working to ensure that a backlog
of beneficiaries’ stipends is cleared.
“Dear Graduate
Beneficiaries, we hope that you have resumed your duties in your different
Places of Primary Assignments (PPA),” N-Power tweeted.
“We are working
tirelessly to ensure that beneficiaries’ stipends and those with backlogs are
cleared,” N-Power said on Twitter.
N-Power’s assurance is
in response to a recent protest by some beneficiaries over the nonpayment of
their allowances.
The government
empowerment scheme warned beneficiaries who refuse to report for work without
any genuine excuse or official permission from their supervisors.
“We also want to make
it clear that any beneficiary who is found absent in his/her primary place of
assignment (PPA) without official permission from his/her supervisor will be
placed on payment hold for 45 days,” N-Power said.
“We have received
disheartening reports from our Monitoring and Evaluation team on some of our
beneficiaries who do not report for work at their different PPAs.
“Furthermore, if at the
end of the 45 days, there Is no official clearance letter for reinstatement of
the beneficiary by the State Focal Person, the beneficiary will be exited from
the N-Power Programme. Kindly be advised to stick to one as we are poised to
implement the Terms of Engagement.”
N-Power is a scheme set
up in Nigeria by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2016, to address the issues of
youth unemployment and improve social development.
The scheme was created as a component of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), to contribute to the government’s plan of lifting 100 million people out of poverty by creating opportunities to enhance the productivity of the Nigerian youth, according to the humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development ministry.
N-Power 2023 January, February, March and April Stipends Payment News
In today's Latest N-Power
News, we will be discussing N-Power 2023 January, February, March and April
Stipends Payment News.
Most N-Power batch C2 beneficiaries are beginning
to ask questions regarding when the January, February, March and April Stipends
will be paid.
According to N-Power,
more payment is on the way for the N-Power batch C2 beneficiaries. So N-Power
batch C2 beneficiaries should rest assured that their January, February, March
and April Stipends will be paid soon.
For Now, N-Power is
working on the issues of beneficiaries with invalid account details, who are
currently undergoing account validation to get their October, November, and
December 2022 stipends payments.
The most important
thing for any N-Power beneficiaries right now is to avoid any situation that
will make N-Power put their stipends on hold. How can you avoid that? You must
not be found absconding from your place of primary assignment PPA.
While the N-Power
program is initiated to help beneficiaries gain work experience to become
employable, it is understandable that beneficiaries can search and apply for
other jobs without letting their job search affect their N-Power PPA duties.
It is recommended to exit the N-Power program if eventually, you secured a better job while serving as a beneficiary.
