The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Pankshin Division in Plateau State has been reportedly kidnapped in the council.
It was gathered that the police officer was kidnapped in the council local government on Thursday.
A source close to the police said he just resumed office as DPO when he was kidnapped.
As at the time of filing this report, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Plateau State DSP Alfred Alabo, was yet to respond to calls made to him.
When contacted the PPRO of the Plateau police command said he was in a meeting and can not talk to newsmen at the moment.
