Abba Monarch, Ezeh Confers Renowned Novelist, Chimamanda Adichie With 'Odeluwa' Chieftaincy Title
It was a gathering of who is who in the state and beyond at the royal palace of the traditional ruler of Abba in Njikoka Local Government Area, Igwe Leonard Ezeh for his triple celebration of forty years on the throne, 2022 ofala festival and eighty eventful years on earth.
The event was rich in scintillating display of cultural heritage and tradition of Abba community as it attracted notable personalities like the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, his Edo counterpart Governor Godwin Obaseki, Former Senator, Ben Ndi Obi, All Progressives Grand Alliance Presidential Candidate, Professor Peter Umeadi, Traditional ruler of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, Member representing Njikoka, Anaocha and Dunukofia at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo among others
The event offered opportunity for the traditional ruler to honour illustrous sons and daughters of the community for their contribution to the development of the town and society.
Notable among them is a globally renowned Nigeria writer and indigene of the community, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie who honoured with the chieftaincy title of "Odeluwa".
