2023: Inuwa takes campaign to mountainous Tula Chiefdom

...As APC Campaign rallies continue, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya's Campaign train, earlier today, ascended and criss-crossed the mountainous Tula Chiefdom to canvas votes for the APC candidates in the forthcoming 2023 general elections

The governor visited Yiri, Wange, Baule Central and Bule-Kaltin Wards of Tula Chiefdom where he was received by crowd of supporters from the communities.

The governor had earlier visited Mai Tula, His Highness, Dr Abubakar Atare Buba at his palace in Wange to seek for his royal blessings and support.

At the Palace, Governor Inuwa commended the exemplary leadership of the monarch, describing him as a gift of God to the Tula People.

He said, he was not surprised with the support and affection shown to him by the community which is a clear testimony of the long-standing relationship between him and the Tula people since before he became the governor, adding that he is very conversant with the problems and plights of the people of the area.

The governor said his administration's performance in the Chiefdom is unbeatable. "The projects we executed in Tula three years of our administration in health, education, roads etc, no government has ever done better in this short time".

Governor Inuwa assured the people of continued commitment of his administration in the execution of developmental projects in the Chiefdom.

"After we constructed the 16 km Yiri Road, we also hope to link up Yiri with Wange Baule, up to Kaltin.

"We will continue to bring peace and development to the people of Tula Chiefdom and Gombe State in general", he assured.

In his response, Mai Tula, Dr Abubakar Atare Buba expressed his delight with the governor's visit, describing it as a great honor to the Chiefdom and to the Kaltungo LGA in general.

He thanked the governor for executing landmark projects in his chiefdom, stressing that nobody brought development to the region better than Governor Inuwa Yahaya.

The traditional ruler noted that Tula has been a strong hold of Governor Inuwa's movement since 2019, stressing that the region will continue to remain so. "Your Excellency, you need not visit Tula for Campaign; your projects will speak for you; Tula is yours and I assure you that our people will continue to stand with you untill the end".

He recalled that the Governor had, within his first 30 days in office, awarded the contract for the construction of Tula Yiri road and released over 2 billion Naira for the project.

He also thanked the governor for appointing indigenes of Tula into important positions in his government. Among other notable achievements the Mai mentioned to the fencing of Government Girls Secondary School Tula, inclusion of Government Technical School Tula within three technical schools that have been upgraded to model schools for vocational training, establishment of healthcare facilities in the area among others.

The Director General, APC Campaign Council, Barrister Zubair Muhammad Umar said they were at the palace to present APC candidates for the 2023 general elections, calling on the people of all the wards visited to ensure they collect their PVCs and vote for the All Progressives Congress.

Other Chieftains who amplified support for Governor Inuwa Yahaya's reelection and the victory of the APC included:The state coordinator of Tinubu/Shettima campaign organisation, Dr. Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna, Zainab Alman, Mr. Ishaya Karu, Executive Secretary, Gombe State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, party candidates among others.

Thousands of defectors from various opposition parties , including former councillors, LGA and ward executives,

were formally received at each of the wards by the state APC chairman, represented by the party Secretary, Abubakar Sadiq S. Goro.
